There’s something special about the Lyric Theatre – that buzz of excitement before the lights dim, the laughter from the guests, the applause that ripples through the theatre. It’s not just a theatre…. it’s a living heartbeat of Swift Current’s creativity and community.
And the best part? You can be part of it.
At the Lyric, we have unique and fun volunteer opportunities – from serving drinks behind the bar to checking tickets at the box office, making popcorn in the concession, or putting your handyman skills to use for building and maintenance projects. Our volunteers also help bring events like Write Out Loud, Youth Talent Night, and Open Stage to life, along with incredible live music, theatre, comedy, and a variety of community performances.
Whether you love being in the middle of the action or prefer helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for your energy and creativity here. You’ll meet amazing artistic people, learn new skills and contribute in keeping the arts alive and thriving in southwest Saskatchewan.

Eligibility for leadership – Members can be nominated for election to the Board of Directors and committees.
