Set in 1954 in rural Saskatchewan, “Homebodies” follows the final days of Ira and Harpo Schuster. Ira, a former piano salesman, watches over his bed ridden brother Harpo, a former concert pianist. Ira fills the void of an unfilled life by hoarding objects from another lifetime. The brothers find themselves at a stand still as Harpo decides to speak up against his caretaker. The play is a portrait of two characters at odds with the past, present, and themselves.
