RaytheNihilist- RaytheNihilist is an award-winning Indigenous Hip Hop artist from Kainai Nation (The Blood Tribe), now based in Saskatoon, SK on Treaty 6 territory. His music blends rap, storytelling, and Indigenous culture, exploring resilience, identity, and the realities of being Indigenous today. By weaving language revitalization and traditional motifs into modern hip hop, he makes culture accessible for youth while offering fresh perspectives on Indigenous identity.
Known for powerful lyrics and smooth, self-produced instrumentals, Ray began his debut studio project BLKFT BOI in 2024, featuring collaborations with Drezus, Matt Mac, Travis Thompson, and Natasha Fisher. His work has reached the Top 10 on the Indigenous Music Countdown, and he plans to release his debut album in 2026. Since 2023, he has completed five self-headlined tours across Western Canada and is preparing a cross-Canada tour in 2026.
With multiple award nominations, including Saskatchewan Music Awards and Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Awards, and winning Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the 2025 Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Awards, Ray continues to expand his presence through compelling songs and dynamic live performances.
Tommy Beatz- Tommy Beatz is an emerging music artist with indigenous roots, recognized for his distinctive beats and rapid lyrical delivery. Hailing from Little Pine First Nation and raised in Saskatoon, he began his journey in music production at the age of 15, transitioning to songwriting at 18. His enthusiasm for crafting boom bap and trap beats, along with catchy melodies, draws inspiration from the underground hip hop scene of the 1990’s. Known for his dynamic live performances and captivating tracks, Tommy has shared the stage with notable artists such as Classified, Snak The Ripper, and Locksmith. As he continues to establish his presence in the music industry, be sure to watch for his upcoming projects and collaborations with other talented artists.
