It is by local playwright Wendy Lockman and this is the WORLD PREMIERE of this play.  Valedictorian, Lily, dreams of fleeing the farm to go to college; a near impossible feat for a young lady in the 1950s, particularly one pushed into playing mother to her rebellious sister Rose.  What desperate lengths will Rose go to convince Lily to stay? And what’s the irreversible cost of Lily’s resistance?  This is a coming of age story about two charmingly resilient sisters whose immense love for each other serves as a roadmap on their typing journey through first loves, obstinate fathers, broken dreams, and dangerous encounters.
